A solid silver brooch made by Malcolm Gray of Ortak Silvercraft, Kirkwall, Orkney, Scotland mounted with a banded Agate.

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks:

Hallmarked on the reverse ‘MG' (Malcolm Gray), lion rampant (silver), a castle (Edinburgh) and “D” (1978).

Age / date of manufacture:

1978.

Size:

Measures 2” (5 cm) long x 1/2" (1.25 cm).

Condition:

In excellent retail used condition with no damage. Clasp and hinge on the reverse are in good working order and fasten securely.
