DDR Doilies Tablecloth VEB Lace and Embroidery Cotton Unused shabby retail chic Country House Vintage Design 80s 60s mid century

Beautiful tablecloth from VEB Spitzen und Embroiderereien Mühltroff/Vogtland from the style-defining 80s of the former GDR (German Democratic Republic). It is made of cotton and PEF in white and has an embroidered pattern. The doilies are unused and also have the original manufacturer label. There may be little traces of storage.

In the past, such doilies were often used as decorative protection for the furniture, as a flower vase, flower pot or sculpture was often placed centrally on the doilies. This beautiful tablecloth fits perfectly with the trendy shabby chic and country house style. But you can also integrate it as a nostalgic style element and contrast in modern living styles.
