These fairy houses are made on the pottery wheel - in one hollow form -- using a lump of speckled stoneware clay.
After the clay gets firm, windows and a door are hand cut - then a chimney is added.
When dry -- all sharp edges are smoothed.

Bisque fired, glazed and re-fired. They become very sturdy little houses -- and no two houses are ever the same!
Perfect for out in the garden or equally at home on the mantle, in the terrarium -- (or even in the fishbowl!).

Each one has such personality - it's no wonder the fairies can't wait to move in and start decorating!!
You'll have fairies in your garden in no time at all! ( Toads and crickets may also come a calling).

No lead in the glazes.
