A stunning collection of two antique poetry books, published circa 1900-1910's by Blackie & retail Son, London

Uniformly bound in luxurious red leather on softboards, with art nouveau style gilt tooling to spine and front boards. Gilt top edges to pages, decorative end papers to front and rear of both volumes. Frontispiece portrait illustration and decorative title pages, decorative red leaf accents on text pages. Text pages are largely bright and in good reading order, with some foxing and age wear present throughout particularly around page edges.

Some wear to internal joints but holding well. Chipping and wear to leather on the spine, edges and corners. Sections of denting/pulling on the boards, cracking to hinges which are starting to split at the very ends. This highly decorative set is sure to add a splash of Art Nouveau style to any collection!
