1. Rinse and leave it upside-down to dry as soon as you are done using it. (Step #1 for a reason)
2. If you messed up step #1 and have a gross growler, begin with a bottle brush, detergent and warm water; then super hot water rinse. (WARNING: Super hot water is super hot) Repeat this process until it passes the nose test.
3. When visiting your local establishment for a refill (Not available in all states and localities!) make sure to ask for a sanitizing rinse.
4. If you are a home brewer, bottle condition at retail your own risk. Handmade products can not be pressure rated consistently or reliably.
