AQUARIUS FLOPPY BRIM BEACH SAND HAT ... A wonderful transitional hat from Fall & Winter to Spring & Summer. It's hand woven by me and very lightweight; perfect for travel. The brim can be worn as a traditional floppy hat since the brim does not have a wire. The brim can also be 'snapped' into a full brim hat that is a perfect for that hike to keep the direct sun out of your eyes. The color is a rustic Beach Sand tweed with flecks of Brown and Cream and some Tan that give it that rich color of 'wild oats'. A vegan washable hat tag with the Aquarius Sign is added at the back of the hat and an adjustable woven hatband with tassel is included. Hat also features the AQUARIUS tag on washable faux leatherBRIM = 3 ¼ " – 3 ½” wide- the brim can be shaped in multiple styles using your fingers to mold the yarn CROWN HEIGHT = about 7” (from top center of hat to just where the brim begins) - top of crown is completed with a little fullness as a design feature. HAT BAND = it is adjustable & removable for both hat sizesHOW TO MEASURE for Head Size: With a cloth measuring tape or a long piece of string, wrap around your head at the middle of your forehead and just above your ears which is the widest part of your head. If using a string, measure it with a ruler to get your head size.CARE - this hat can be gently hand laundered in cool water using a soap for hand laundering. Once laundered, wrap in a dry towel and roll (do not wring) to eliminate as much water as possible. Then, on a dry towel, lay the hat flat to air dry. DO NOT put in the dryer & DO NOT iron. Reshape the brim if necessary. The vegan Aquarius tag is washable. COTTON BLEND Yarn -the makers of this beautiful rustic tweed yarn are very eco-conscious. It is made using the scraps of fabric in the clothing industry - cotton, linen, silk, acrylic and some nylon. Through a process the fabric is woven into this beautiful rustic yarn.
