This matching compact and pill case are from the 1960s. They both have simplified versions of the same painting on front. They both open when the tab in front is pressed in.
The compact measures
3 3/8” diameter top
2 5/8” diameter base
3/8” thick
2 5/8” diameter mirror
This pill case measures
1 1/2” across
1/4” thick
The compact is in fair condition. The lid for the powder has lost the center piece, so the powder is exposed to the mirror. retail The remaining edge has lost the copper plating in a few places. There is some scratching on the bottom. Still works well and has some of the original pressed powder inside.
The pill case is in good condition. The edges of the painting have worn off especially at the corners. The paper plastic lining has a few marks on it.
