Blizzard Blues is a new release fabric collection by Moda fabrics. It has literally flown off the shelves. The colors are truly wonderful. Great shades of blues. I took pictures of all the fabric in the layer cake as better in person than the collection picture. I added in the grey/blue snowflake fabric by Henry Glass fabrics to use as a center in the quilt block. It compliments all the fabrics as is a neutral with a hint of blue in it and it is a little larger scale than the rest of the prints which makes it perfect choice for a center block. The medium dark blue snowflake fabric is used for the binding.

The pattern is Ice Tea by Villa Rosa Designs. Moda used a similar pattern to showcase this fabric which used fat quarters which significantly limited the number of colors/prints used. The Ice Tea pattern used a layer cake so you get every print in the collection and making the quilt is easier to cut/piece. The pattern is appropriate for a beginner and a great pattern to use up stray layer cakes in your stash.

Included in this listing is all fabrics for the quilt top, binding and pattern.

Fabric is new, unwashed. 100% cotton.
