Amber cabochon with beetle insect inclusion, Baltic region. 17.93 carats retail / 3.58 grams

A cabochon of orange Baltic Amber with a visible beetle inclusion.

Along with the small white beetle the gem displays an array of bio-detritus which together form an attractive inclusion scene.

The insect is nicely centred in this gem, which would be a superb display piece and is suitable for setting in a creative jewel design.
