Austrian Empire 1818 retail Silver Thaler Brooch Twist Wire Rim

Vintage large round brooch, made of Austrian Empire silver Thaler, issued 1818. On the front, there is a coin's reverse side, featuring imperial eagle with a crown above. On the back, there is wreathed bust of Francis I. Brooch is decorated with an applied twist wire rim.

This outstanding brooch is 1 3/4" in diameter and weighs 31.5 grams or 1 ozt.
