The internal core is made from an authentic wood type as per used in the early medieval period, then it is covered with Veg Tan Leather.

Core: Pine

Outer protection: Veg Tan Leather

The picture in question is plane undyed leather, however, in the last pic you can see it retail being dyed naturally with veg tan dye, giving it a beautiful dark brown stained colour.

If you'd like it dyed, please tell us so, or plane standard leather.
