About the Artist.

Listed artist Ruane Manning was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA (1939 - ) and has been incredibly prolific over the course of his career. His subject matter includes animals, both domesticated and in the wild, floral compositions, celebrity portraits/tributes, landscapes, cityscapes, and architectural subjects. He is also an retail accomplished sculptor.

Mr. Manning studied at the Philadeplphia Museum of Art and then embarked on a career as a commercial artist working in advertising. In the late 1960s, his first wildlife print was published and he has enjoyed great success and an ever growing audience since then. Most of his art starts life as oil paintings but has found wide appeal as prints, calendars, jigsaw puzzles, etc. His works have been published by the Danbury Mint, the Franklin Mint and the Hamilton Collection among others. His paintings and sculptures are widely collected across the globe.
Mr. Manning currently makes his home in New Jersey and his gallery is located in the Lambertville House Hotel.
