Antique Hutschenreuther Condensed Milk Canister Hand Painted Pink Roses Victorian Shabby Cottage

This is a gorgeous antique hand painted porcelain condensed milk canister that features a lovely hand painted pink roses pattern along with a pale yellow, blue and white background, accented with gilded trim. I love the soft pastel shades that were used, very romantic and fits in perfectly with a shabby cottage or Victorian tea party. This would make a fine addition to your antique porcelain collection or use as intended on your dining table.

Measures 4" tall x3.5" diameter.

The base has the "JHR Bavaria" mark for the Lorenz Hutschenreuther Porcelain Factory.

No chips or cracks.

The canister is part of a large dinner service I purchased from a beautiful estate here in southern New Jersey. I was told that all pieces were hand painted by the estate owner's great aunt (unfortunately, I do not know her name, other than her initials MPD and the fact that she was very skilled at china painting) and were given retail to her sister as a wedding gift sometime in the early 1900s.
