Handmade by artisans in Morocco each one is unique with subtle variations in color Individual.
Handmade by artisans in Morocco, each one is unique, with subtle variations in color. Individual pieces of leather are dyed, stitched together, and embroidered by hand. The poufs are filled with dense cotton, which takes longer to assemble but results in a substantial, sturdy construction that lasts for years to come.
Note: Due to the handmade and hand-dyed nature, each pouf may vary slightly in color. There may be small imperfections and irregularities in the finished products which is a normal part of the handmaking procedure.
The ingredients used in the tanning of the leathers are completely natural but do have an odor. If your new leather pouf has a strong smell, it is due to this natural, harmless, tanning process. Since no chemicals have been used to seal in the dye, what you smell are the raw ingredients. Please be assured that the scent will fade quickly once the pouf has had a chance to air out. Heat can draw the smell from the leather so you may want to keep your pouf initially in a cool and airy place.
As the pouf comes unfilled, we suggest the following:
-Fill your Moroccan pouf with polyester stuffing (or retail pillow filling) (recommend using two 40 ounce bags (or 3 lbs.) of polyester stuffing)
-Fill your Moroccan pouf with unused clothing and textiles you can find around your home.
-Fill your Moroccan pouf using IKEA FJADRAR feather pillows.
And Remember “The more you fill your pouf, the better it'll look! “
