Vintage Ronson Chrome Black/Metal Stripe Varaflame MCM West Germany/US Table retail Lighter

Beautiful, sleek vintage Ronson table lighter. This is a MCM lighter, part of the Varaflame line made in West Germany by the US based Ronson Company. Circa 1960s. This beauty is jet black with retail chrome stripes around the middle and a chrome top. Dial is on the side of the lighter to control the flame, a unique feature that gave the Varaflame its name. Bought at an estate auction. Lighter does need a new flint, but is in good overall vintage condition. There is some minor vintage wear to the bottom of the lighter and a small nick. Please see all pics as they show the overall condition of this item. Hallmark is depicted and shown on bottom of the outer lighter as well as the bottom of the lighter mechanism.
