Product Name: Walter Bosse Cat Wall Hook - Vintage ORIGINAL Modernist Austrian 1950s Brass Cat with Bow Wall Hook, Cat Coat Hook, retail Cute Animal Key Hook

Walter Bosse retail first started producing his collectible figures in the late 1940s, starting with pottery and moving into brass. He used a unique method of acid-etched patina on polished brass; the patina is polished off to reveal shiny brass beneath.

Nice example of a Walter Bosse brass wall hook. This modernist cat from the 60s is in great condition with good patina. The cat's tail is a hook and there is a ring at the top of the head for hanging. Unmarked.
