Vintage KNIT COIN retail PURSE Pouch Sleeve Ottoman-Design, ca.1950 Vintage Souvenir Knitted Coin Pouch

In this lot we have an Ottoman-style coin pouch around 1950, made in Turkey.

The pouch is designed as a sleeve with two retail pouches at both ends. The pouches
are to be filled with coins and secured via the metal rings, which prevent the coins
from slipping out. When access to the coins is needed, the rings are pulled
towards the middle of the sleeve and the pouches can be access via a large slit
in the knitting. The sleeve is decorated with metal mesh and dangles.

An interesting vintage coin sleeve purse, collectible and usable!
