Petite Napoleonic Coach Created by The Fisher Body Craftsman's retail Guild: Paper Cutout 1930s, From 1930-1968 the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild held a competition to build a real miniature model of.
From 1930-1968 the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild held a competition to build a real miniature model of this paper coach. The winner of the competition would receive a college scholarship. The paper sets were apparently free.
This complete paper cutout appears to be from the 1930s. There are 4, 13" by 15.75" color printed retail (card stock) sheets to create a paper model of a Petite Napoleonic Coach. There is also a 2 sided instruction sheet of the the same size as the color sheets. The sheets have not been cut and are in good condition without stains or tears. One of the sheets has a soft bend near the top. Originally there must have been 2 sets in this envelope. There are 2 instruction sheets and a piece left from one of the sheets. There is a real challenge here to create this little coach. The whole concept is amazing! How many of these uncut paper models are still left? It does not look easy, but what a wonderful project or collectible for an automobile enthusiast or designer.
