I was inspired to resurrect the craft I had made some 30 years ago when my kids were little . I wanted to stay home with them, but we needed some extra income.

retail First I pick out some fabric to fit a theme, then I chose the colors for the trim, and decide whether to do feathers or yarn for the mane and tail. I chose size, base stain color, and whether to have one leg bent, or all four. The final decision is whether to add a unicorn horn. I tried making the horn out of clay but it always ends up breaking so I had discovered that just taking a paper napkin and twisting it tightly, I'd created a beautiful horn! A bit of paint and gesso, and I've got a horn that holds it's shape, but is not sharp or dangerous at all. I love creating different themes for varied occasions.
