Larimar rough slab, one shaped piece as shown, a blank for specimens or cabochons, loose, rough blue pectolite. Also called dolphin stone or Stefilia's stone.

Side A - Beautiful pattern of blue gradients and a few clusters of small grains of blue and green. A nice pattern that will polish up into a great cabochon.

Side B - Lots of deep blue grains, white webbing borders, and a few bits of matrix that actually I think will look great as accents. A really pretty side, maybe even a better choice than side A for the top of your cab. Plenty of room to trim and get the exact part you want.

Edge - All sides rough but still straight. Evenness varies a little from 5/16" on the thick side, to about 3/8" on the point-side. A little bit of edge rounding on one of the sides, favorable to side B, but only a few mm and should not affect your trim.

One of the pictures shows the piece back-lit to show off the internal color and structure of the stone. I also show an edge-on pic to demonstrate the evenness and thickness of the piece for you to see for yourself.

I also show sets of pictures, one with the piece dry, and one wet, in approximately the same position, to show you what the piece looks like as-is retail and how it would look if it were polished (the wet look).
