1936 Decorative Plate of Unknown Origin retail

This beautiful little plate measures 7.5" in diameter, has a date of 1936 on the back and...well that's about all I know. The makers mark is too faded to read so I wasn't able to find out much about it. The design looks Japanese but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a "made in Japan" plate.

The plate itself is absolutely gorgeous! Vivid colors and a very high level of detail. I wouldn't be surprised if this was originally from a high end collection of some kind that got separated and lost in 50 years of garage retail sales. Hopefully it finds a good home.

Size: 7.5 inch diameter

Condition: Really good condition for its age but there's an old sticker on the back. I didn't remove it out of fear of damaging the plate. It looks like it's been on there for awhile so it would probably leave a difficult to remove mark if pealed off. Maybe not but better to be safe than sorry.
