Hand Embroidered Flour Sack Towels, Crocheted Edging, Set of 6, Vintage Pattern, Purple and Yellow Pansies, Tableware, retail Dishes, Teapot, Old fashion pansies in purple and yellow Set of 6 Dishes cup and saucer teapot glass.

Towels are 100% premium cotton, 28” x 28”. Towels are stitched by my 2 hands and eyes while listening to an audio book.
I also do all crocheting. Crochet thread is 100% Cotton.
Washing and care for embroidered towels:
Machine wash retail warm or cold, regular cycle. Dry on low or hang dry, the dryer will soften fabric, also continued use and washings will soften fabric as well. Fabric softener will hinder any towel absorbency.
Ironing is optional, you will receive them freshly washed and ironed. My personal towels I do not iron, they wash and dry very nicely. The embroidery is durable through many years of washing and use.
All towels have been: prewashed, put in medium heat dryer, embroidered, then washed again, hung dry and ironed.
My Story:
I started stitching with crewel in the 1980's, cross stitching in the 1990's to felt Christmas stockings in 2000's, then in 2012 I found myself completely in love with the embroidered tea towel. The personal choice of color and the ease of stitching without charts and counting is pure freedom!
Vintage transfer patterns are my favorite. I have found that vintage reproduction transfers are more reliable, but they are pricey, running on average of $10.00 and up. Which accounts for the higher price of my towels.
My stitches are small, tight and the back of towels are “clean” in appearance.
