A seascape painting of a lighthouse in a fishing village copied from a photograph of Rock Island lighthouse in New York. Not an exact rendition, due to the quality of the photograph.
The painting is framed (with glass) in an up-cycled thrift store frame, which has been lightly sanded and shellacked, and it gives the piece a rustic, shabby-chic look to it.
Primarily done in saturated watercolor with some gold ink accents, and white acrylic accents.
It would be a great little painting for a cottage or rustic cabin.
