Every heart in your box has been specially hand-sanded so there are no markings on them. So, YES they can be used on both sides. We wanted to give you as much area for your guests to leave as many well wishes retail as they could to create as many memories for you on your special day.

What Pen Works Best On The Hearts:
Almost any pen would will work.
Because all the hearts have been hand-sanded they are very easy to write on. We find the best pens to use are either Rollerball or Ballpoint pens. Most ink-based pens work beautifully, but I would suggest staying away from a felt pen as the writing may not be as clear as ink....but they do still work.
