Charming Hamilton & Moore Rococo Revival Creamer/Jug, relief mould with magnificent scrolls and tendrils on white ground with fluted edge, ornate handle and base.
Samson Hamilton and Benjamin Moore were in partnership from 1840 to about 1858. Their registered premises were at Mount Pleasant Works, Longton Staffordshire, employed 99 people. Hamilton & Moore specialised in the production of bone China.
Not stamped but attributed to one of Hamilton & Moore design pattern number 0113/1058
Considering the age, this creamer is in great antique condition. Very minimal loss of gilt trim and scuffles on the base. Some discolouration due to age. Please study the photos carefully.
The dimensions are 4” tall by the spout, 3” wide and 5” across.
This magnificent collection belonged to an expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries, which he lovingly collected, catalogued and researched for over 50 + years.
