Retail Couple

The Cycladic figurines are artifacts of the Cycladic art era that dates back to the 3rd-2nd millennium BC, in the island complex of the Cyclades. Made of retail marble, strongly shaped but without details. Only as many as gender stand out. In the early period their shape referred to a shovel for this reason and they were called "Ptyoshima". The "Bioloschima" followed because their outline referred to the shape of a violin. Finally we have forms that try to give a naturalistic human form. Embossed nose, hands in motion, obviously male or female figure to capture an activity (eg musicians).
