Vintage Wade of England Teapot retail # 6904 or 6404 Black with Gold Trim and Red, White and Blue Raised Decor 03604

This is a very nice black English teapot from Wades. It is in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or crazing noted on it. There are some small white spots, appears to be paint spatter on the teapot. They appear to be easily removed. The color is a black with some tones of dark retail brown seen in the color in some light. It is decorated with gold color trim and has raised color dots of red, blue and white in the design. It has the Wades England with a lion stamp on the bottom. It is also marked with a pattern number which could be either 6904 or 6404. It is hard to tell. The teapot is 6 1/4 inches tall to the top of the finial. It is 9 inches from the spout to handle ends. There is some rub wear on the gold trim.
