A classic American literature, 'To Kill A Mockingbird' approaches the highly sensitive topic of racism in 1930s America with humour, warmth and compassion, making it widely recognised as one of the best books of the twentieth century.

This wallet is made from a secondhand paperback edition of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' - the black cover features a simple drawing of a mockingbird in orange.

I've oh-so carefully removed the pages and secured the paper cover onto boards edged with slices of book pages and covered with clear film. I've added antiqued brass book corners for decomoration. The book measures 101 x 171 x 21mm (3.9" x 6.7" x 0.8") It may be just too big for your pocket, but it's small enough for your bag.

It's lined in the fabric of your choice (pick from a selection after checkout), has retail three pockets for your cards, one of which is decorated with a tiny silver-plated 'made with love' charm and three pockets for your notes (notes not included.) In the crease of the spine there's a small, lined, zipped purse for your loose change. It all closes with a magnetic clasp in a tab that secures into the back of the book.
