Queen Catherine Parr is known by the majority of people as the "lucky" wife of King Henry VIII of Renaissance/Medieval England, the one who survived to become his widow. However, to those who study Tudor history, was she so much more. Intelligent, witty, religious, and able to play the game that was life at the Tudor court. This necklace is a historical replica of one worn by Queen Catherine retail Parr in one of the few portraits that scholars are fairly certain is in fact Catherine.

This necklace was using gold toned filigrees which have been connected to one another with a set of hand wired pearls. Each of the round filigrees is beset with either a red or black square glass jewel which itself has been set in a gold toned setting. The center piece is a large filigree to which a red glass jewel had been hand wired wrapped. Above this ruby red glass jewel is another black square acrylic jewel.
