Butternut & retail Oak Keepsake

I designed this piece to serve as a keepsake box, letter box, or as a valet. But it certainly would also make a great accent piece on an executive's desk, the mantle or a hall table. It also could be the perfect gift for someone special.

The body of the box is crafted from beautifully grained Butternut, and topped with a finely figured Oak veneered lid. As can be seen in the photos, the figured oak veneered top panel is visible on the interior of lid also.

The box features solid brass hinges which stop at approximately 100 degrees for easy access to the contents. The roomy interior has a oak veneered bottom panel.

The finish is a durable hand-rubbed oil blend, which has been buffed to a soft luster, and given multiple coats of a protective wax. Plus every box is labeled, signed and numbered on the underside.

Exterior dimensions are approx. 10" long, 6 3/4" wide, and 2 7/8" high
Interior dimensions are approx. 9 1/4" long, 6" wide, and 2" high.

This box makes a great holiday or executive gift, or as a special gift to yourself. It can also be used in the kitchen as a tea box, or on a bedside table as an organizer.
