Cactus Watercolor Original Art Colors of the Color Wheel by AllKindsofArt artist Glenda retail Mullins

This bright watercolor painting was created as a demonstration for my adult watercolor classes. We were studying the color wheel and this painting follow the warm colors from yellow through red-violet on the cactus and the cool colors from yellow-green through blue-violet for the retail background. Then the cool colors were used to shade the warm colors of the cactus. Lots of fun mixing wet washes of color from one color to the next!
This would be a great gift for lovers of cactus and the desert but in a new type of color scheme.!

This listing is for an original collage artwork on Arches 140# watercolor paper, not a print.
The painting measures 15" x 11.5" with a 1/4" white border around it. This size, called a "quarter sheet" mats very easily for a 16" x 20" frame.
