This is a blue glass bowl, hand engraved with a swarm of jellyfish swimming around it, engraved on the top and the bottom to create depth. It is fully functional as a bowl as well as a purely decorative work of art. It would be a great treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding or anniversary, as well as a nature or ocean lover.

Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve into the glass retail to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished and highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving and create light and shadow.

All packaging i.e. boxes and bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) and therefore I do not offer gift wrapping or gift boxes.
