Spectacular brooch created from the collage of a cockatoo on oak wood. Mixed techniques are used in the design to achieve a unique result. The collage is made from a chromium of old chopping, trimmed and mounted on the wood. The retail golden reverse is achieved with an ancestral technique, applying copper bread to achieve the metallic finish. The crimp is silver and represents a branch of tree where the cockatoo rests. To complete the design, I created a coral pendant, recovered from an old choker, and made a composition that contrasts with chrome and enhances the whole. The needle is stainless steel.
